    Social nature walk: Rutting Red Deer on the Eastern Moors

    Start point: Curbar Gap Easternmoors CP

    4 miles, Easy. Leader: Guide from Derbyshire Natural Tours.

    A gentle stroll of around 3 hours taking in White Edge, Big Moor and returning along the stunning Curbar Edge, with a guide from Derbyshire Natural Tours. We will be keeping an eye out for red deer and a variety of bird life.

    Clumber Park

    Start point: Lay-by on A614 at junction of Blyth Road and Freeboard Lane

    8.25 miles, Easy. Leader: Stef Fi.

    Park in the lay-by on the A614 at the junction with Freeboard Lane. From there we will walk through Hardwick Village and out on to the weir to gain a great view before heading along the border of Hardwick Wood into Burnt Oak Wood and down the Robin Hood Way to the house. From here we’ll go around Clumber Lake before heading back through woodland to the lay-by.

    There is a lot to do in Clumber Park so there will be time after the walk to have a look around.
